It is our great pleasure to invite you to the SECOND SERBIAN CONGRESS OF CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY - SCCM 2026 , organized by the Serbian Association for Clinical Microbiology, and held in Zlatibor. Following the success of the inaugural congress, SCCM 2026 continues to promote the advancement of clinical microbiology in Serbia and the region, bringing together leading experts from both national and international institutions.
SCCM 2026 will deliver a comprehensive scientific program with a strong focus on innovations in microbiological diagnostics, antimicrobial therapy, and the prevention and management of infectious diseases.
Participants can expect:
- plenary lectures delivered by distinguished national and international speakers,
- thematic symposia addressing current and complex diagnostic and clinical challenges,
- „meet the expert“ sessions for in-depth professional discussion,
- interactive workshops featuring case-based learning and practical approaches,
- program for young microbiologists supporting scientific development and research engagement.
Special emphasis will be placed on advances in diagnostic methodologies, antimicrobial resistance, optimized diagnostic algorithms, and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care—contributing to enhanced clinical practice and improved healthcare quality.
